I’m so happy!!!

So I have had severe cramps since I was 11 years old. I have been to doctors repeatedly. I was put on several different birth controls and nothing ever helped.

The last three years my husband and I have been TTC. I have been to 4 doctors since... had one suggest birth control, one tell me I was too young to worry about babies (I was 22 at the time), one tell me to cut out caffeine, and one prescribed me ibuprofen... NOBODY was listening.

I had several people refer a doctor to me. I thought “what the heck. I’ll give another doctor a chance”. I waited 2 months for my appointment and I finally got in today.

I am having surgery!!! He said he’s pretty sure I have endometriosis. Which is what I’ve thought for quite some time!! My surgery is scheduled for next week.

I feel so relieved. SOMEBODY listened!!!! The last 3 years have taken a toll on my mental health and I felt like I was never going to be able to give my husband the family he deserves. I have hope again!! I know this was a long post. But I hope anybody that reads this and feels ignored never gives up! There is somebody out there that will listen!

Now, it’s time for me to do my happy dance. 😊😊😊
