I was told to only wake my babies to feed them if they weren't gaining weight or haven't passed their birth weight. I would speak with your childs dr and see what they think.

For anyone interested, yes my child has gained at least a pound more than her birth weight. Weight gain isn’t an issue. There is no issue here. I’m just wondering what the moms of a typical normal weight gaining baby do. I got my answer.

Not much context to your question.. has baby passed birth weight? Has your peditrican say you could do so? I would speak to your ped about advice about your baby before taking advice from some people on an app.

I think I woke my 1st up to eat every 3 hours till he was 7ish weeks old so I think after 1 month its kinda whatever you choose to do or whatever baby needs.

I would ask your doctor. My baby’s doctor told me to not let him go more than 3.5-4 hours at night, but he was 7 weeks early so they want him gaining as much as possible. Might be different if your baby was full term
