Early period on bc

So my period came a few days earlier than I usually expect it too. I’ve been on the pill for a year so it’s not something too new to me. However when I got my period it was a lot lighter and only lasted like 3 days. It started off pinkish which made me nervous it was something like IB but then it got heavier. I used a tampon but it didn’t fill the whole thing like usual. On the second day it was definitely redder, but then went away not even a day later. I haven’t had anything the past few days but this morning there was more pinkish discharge. It is possible I get my period twice? Has this happened to anyone else?
