My teacher told me I shouldn’t have a life this quarter, that I should just study, because I don’t know how to write out story problems. She told the whole class if you’re failing, you need to be staying in and studying. You don’t get a life until you understand what she’s teaching.

I know how to solve story problems, I just cant write them out. I went up and told her this after trying to figure it out for 30 minuets on my quiz, and she decided to explain how to turn a decimal into a fraction, and a fraction into a decimal, then said “it’s about the process, not about guessing”. What the fuck does that even mean? I left the class crying out of frustration because I’m failing right now, I’m going to owe money if I fail, and I’m 100% broke. What the fuck am I supposed to do!!!??? I just needed to rant this out because this is not how I thought today would go. I thought I was going to ace today because I studied the chapter and understood it all. The chapter wasn’t about writing out story problems, it was about how to solve them, which I already knew. She did a complete 360 and decided to give a quiz on how to write them out!!!!
