Why does my husband think ttc should be so simple?

He thinks that we should just have sex and I will get pregnant automatically. 
He just got upset with me because I'm not pregnant yet. He doesn't know how hard it is on me, that I can't do the one thing a woman was made to do. 
Hopping in the shower now to cry in peace...

It's because he doesn't know how any of it works. Suggest he learn about what it really takes to make a person. It's not you, I'm sure you know. I'm sure all he knows is public school, "don't have sex or you'll get pregnant!" scare tactics so he thinks it's always simple

Literally this. Love my husband and family to death but they all think as soon as birth control is removed I'll magically become pregnant and I feel like crap because I'm not pregnant yet.
I'm just honest and blunt with all of them letting them know it makes me feel pressured and stressed when they say stuff like that.

My husband didn’t get it either until I explained to him how little time we actually have and the small chance you have to actually conceive.  As women, we barely know about our bodies and how things work....we can’t expect guys to know how things work.
Guys are told to put a condom on because they will get a girl pregnant if they don’t, they aren’t taught about women’s cycles and conceiving.

Mine doesn’t necessarily get mad but he makes a lot of comments about how everyone around him has kids or are getting pregnant after trying one time and we’ve been trying for years and can’t. Men can be so insensitive

Maybe print out a graph of a typical cycle and show him what a narrow time window it is much less how low the chances are even if you have the perfectly timed sex.            I've been on both sides of the spectrum.  Unexplained infertility with my first.   Then the second baby my husband and I slipped up twice TWICE and had unprotected sex and I got pregnant.      Honestly I felt so guilty for getting pregnant so easy the second time.       I felt so undeserving.     Maybe just make a visual for him.  Maybe itll help and explain how much it bothers you.     Trust me dont hide those feelings from him
