Stupidest thing you've done since becoming a parent?

I figured mine out today, cant walk through baby gates. Believe me, I just tried. I have 4 bruises that instantly formed and probably was 👌🏻that close to shattering my kneecap. So yeah, take your baby gates down if you want to walk freely.
My excuse? Trying to do laundry while the baby sleeps, couldnt see through the basket. Best news, I didnt scream, so Sarah is still sleeping in her crib. Yay?

I was tossing a rattle to my sister at Christmas so he wasn’t even 3 months old yet.. I missed my sister and smacked my son right in the forehead with it. I’m pretty sure I cried more than he did.

After my son’s two month vaccinations he was so sad. I was able to calm him down but then when I was buckling him into his car seat, my hand slipped as I was tightening the strap and I ended up practically punching him in the face. He must have been thinking, “What the hell?” 🤦🏼‍♀️

My friend spent the night so I stupidly stayed up all night knowing my son was going to get up early so morning time rolls around and I brought him into my bed and fell back asleep on accident (my son had to have been like 5-6 months because he could definitely move around) well he decided to fall off my bed and I caught him mod air in my sleep! So is it really a mom fail? Lol I felt SO BAD even thought he wasn’t even hurt lol. Now I accidentally knock him over.. he is always under my feet smh 🤦🏼‍♀️

I was soo sleep deprived when my baby came home that I was rocking her in her rocker but fail to notice her in my arms and I freaked when my son threw his clothes on the rocker thinking she was there😂 I still get reminded of this daily😑

Oh god probably when he was like 3 mo I carried him in his baby rocker chair and bumped into a baby gate cause I couldn't see it and forgot and the whole thing flipped upside down! Luckily the tiny belt held him in and he didn't cry or anything but felt so dumb and was scared I broke him lol
