Herpes and breaking up

So I found out I had herpes a couple of months ago and I was devasted. I told my boyfriend and he said to do some reason to see if there was a cure,nothing came up. I went good ol youtube found so many videos about how to remove the viral from your body. So i followed the regimen and ate alkaline. My results came back positive with an high count. It feel like i found out i have it all over again and my boyfriend results come back negative i will probably have to break up with him so that he does not have to deal with me. I need encouragement and advice.
