NIPT with Twins ?

Does anyone know if you can do NIPT with twins to find genetic mutations and to find the gender? If you did it, which test did you use and was it correct?

I would think if they did the test, if it shows a boy, then at least one is a boy. If it shows girl, then both are girls. I haven't had the test done, but I heard that's what the results would say if they identified the gender.

I think it’s only if they are identical can it be accurate...or if it says girl then they’re both girls and if it says boy you have at least one boy, maybe 2

It is generally available for twins, but each lab handles them differently. Some can tell you only presence or absence of Y chromosome (so you know its either male/male or male/female twins), and all should be able to tell you if one or both twins are high risk for a chromosome condition. You’d have to do a diagnostic test afterwards to know for sure if it’s one or both though. A negative is reassuring for both.
