Anatomy scan?

So I’m not getting my anatomy scan until 28 weeks. Is that odd? I though they were done around 20 weeks?

Hmm, they are usually done between 18-22 weeks I believe. Did they say why they were doing it so late?

Very. I’d be requesting more than just ‘that’s when he likes to do them.’

Yes. Ideally it’s done between 18-23 weeks. I’d get more info on why. That’s really late.

Baby will be more developed but might not cooperate as much due to reduced room. I think they usually do it 18-23 so it goes faster you might not have to work so hard to get the right angles not sure.

That’s very late. I would ask for it to be sooner. That sounds like a different doctor...not one I’d like lol

Odd. Here we have to schedule it almost 2 months out just because there aren't many radiologists. Could that be why?

That is very odd. I’m a first time mom but my dr seemed very adamant that I needed to schedule it around 20 weeks. I would ask more
