repeating movements - sign of autism or normal baby behavior?

i have noticed my 5 month old son repeating a lot of movements mainly with his arms/hands. first he would open and close his first over and over, usually when holding my finger. now he’ll kind of “hit” me with his fist over and over while he’s breastfeeding. when he’s in the pack and play, he’ll run his hand across the mesh part repeatedly. in fact, as i type this he’s holding my other thumb and swinging his arm back and forth. he was also just grabbing the hair on his head and pulling it up over and over.

are all of these repeated movements normal for babies??? or could this be a sign of autism? (he seems to do it mostly when he’s bored/getting frustrated but i’m not too sure) is it worth mentioning at our next appt? i don’t mean to be that mom..but it’s something worth knowing for sure. thanks! looking online everything will say it’s a warning sign, so i figured i’d ask you ladies and other mamas instead.
