1 in 5 chance giving birth at 34 weeks?

I am 15 weeks and I went for my midwife appointment and my results from Translucency scan were low risk. However, she mentions it says I’m 1 in 5 chance of giving birth early at 34 weeks, however couldn’t tell me why and said she would need to find out. 
What on earth is this statistic? Does anyone know where they would have got this from?

Um whomever told you that needs to go get re-educated. The nuchal translucency doesnt even test for anything of the sort! Nor does the blood test. No test can tell you you're likely to go into early labor. I have never even heard of this. So I wouldnt stress too much or worry too much. 🙄Some people really shouldnt work in the medical field🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I am having twins, and my nt gave the same results. She said it was because one of the placentas are giving off a certain chemical that determines there could be preterm birth.

Hmm that's odd they could not tell you why..  In my case they guessed I would deliver early because my cervix was funneling. They were correct my daughter was born at 33 weeks.
