Water leak on birthing ball?

I’m 37 weeks. Last week was 70% effaced, 1 cm dilated and -3 fetal station. Been having contractions/back pain on and off for 2 weeks. Tonight I was bouncing on my birthing ball and I felt a small gush of water... about 2tbs, it’s clear, no odor. Anyone had amniotic rupture on the ball before?

My water ruptured in the early morning. I wore a pad and woke up to feeling like I was drenched. My pad was soaked and I had to change. I wound up having to change several times. It could be your water. Just relax and wait. See if you start having consistent contractions. Your baby could move and make your water stop leaking.

I had a small gush and then 20 min later another little gush and it just kept happening.. my water had broken! If you feel another gush, call the OB! You’re probably having a baby!! 🥰

It’s very possible, general recommendation is to lay down for 30-60 mins with a par on then stand up to see if it gets wet. If it is your water no need to rush in. I suggest taking at least a 2 hr nap. Making high carb high protein meal, long hot shower then the miles circuit then reevaluating if you need to go in.

My besties water broke at 36 weeks 2 days on the ball. She said she thought she peed at first, used the restroom, laid down for a little and when she stood up she leaked more and knew for certain.
