It depends on the person. I told a friend I was physically repulsed by that I loved him when I was black out drunk once and I definitely didn’t mean it, but my friend told her husband she wanted to die (which she did tell me sober once because he was abusive.) I’m a sleepy/laughing drunk and don’t make much sense and she’s the type to get hit with real thoughts and stress when she’s drunk.

Idk I told a random person I met at a bar we should go on a couples trip to Mexico when I was black out drunk. Definitely not a sober thought. When I cry to my  friends about how much I love them after a bottle of wine, that’s definitely a sober thought.
