I’m so confused! Still not sure how ovulation tests work.. so this is today’s. Yesterday there was no 2nd line, does this mean there is more of a “surge” today and I will ovulate soon, or does this mean basically the same as a test with no 2nd line?

You need to make sure with ovulation tests you don’t use FMU. Take it around noon or later . Once the line begins to become darker (close to as dark as the test line ) you can test more than once a day to make sure you don’t miss your surge . I hope that helps !

A positive ovulation test is when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. When the test line becomes much darker than the control line, that’s when you’ve peaked. The test line will start to get darker as you approach ovulation. Your LH hormone slowly increases as days go by until you ovulate. Once you’ve hit peak LH, then you release an egg. Hope that helps.
