Before nursing? I’m concerned. And frustrated there isn’t a quicker way to treat thrush 🥺

Ditch the nystatin and go to the pharmacy and ask for gentian violet. It cures thrush like crazy! I don’t use anything else for it but that. I have 2 boys who were both breastfed and I used it for them and myself when I got it with my oldest! Currently pregnant with baby number 3 and I will use it for her too if she gets it!
It’s purple and stains you and the baby. It comes off after a little but worth the $12! He’s a pic with my youngest. He turned his head as I was applying to his mouth 😂
If you choose to continue with nystatin you don’t have to wash it off!

I didn't wipe it off, it's ok for your baby because that's what they prescribe for your baby's mouth if they get oral thrush, you can easily transfer it to your baby when nursing.
