Teething?

Hello FTM here...How do I know if my baby is teething for sure? He’s been super fussy the last couple days. Crying ALOT and sometimes really bad like he’ll be nursing and then just start screaming! I don’t see or feel anything in his mouth but I’m just not sure. He will also chew on his hand sometimes. He hasn’t been able to sleep much longer than 10 min during his naps(not sure that needed info but yeah) I just am not sure. He just turned 3 months yesterday(10/3)

With my daughter The gums were very obvious that teeth were fixing to come in. She didn’t act fussy or anything but I was always looking at them because she’s 10months and didn’t have any teeth yet, the gums got little indents where the teeth would be coming in and then I was able to feel them also. About a week or two later one popped thru the gums, and that was the only night she lost any sleep was when they cut thru. The other one came thru a couple days ago and didn’t affect her. She showed zero signs as her mood and sleep being affected (except for the day/night it actually cut thru) She didn’t have increased drooling or anything either.
