Impacted baby

My daughter is almost five months, hasn’t pooped in about 3 days. I didn’t really freak out because she’s done that before and has gone to the potty like normal. Well I could see a hard stool around her bottom she wasn’t able to push out, and upon further inspection she had small tears. By the point she starts crying everytime she’s pushing, like I’m in pain cry and she’s bleeding also I take her to the Er I work at and they dis impacted her. Now she’s having bowel moments but of course are painful due to the strain on her bottom and small tears. I’m a new mom, and she doesn’t see her doc until Tuesday. My question is, what have you guys done as a preventative for constipation? I would recommended to dilute her formula and even try switching to something higher in fiber.
