Crib mattress recommendations for a new born ?

I’m completely lost on buying a mattress— there are so many options ranging from $50-$250. What mattress brand do you like for your baby? How much was it? Thanks!

We did a 60 dollar Serta from Walmart. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just made sure it was firm and breathable.

Mine is firm memory foam and it is water proof (I think most of them are) mine is also like pest proof I think it’s called? So it cant get like bed bugs or mites. Not that I worried about that just thought it was a cool feature. And it’s hypoallergenic.  I think it was 179 so kind of middle of the road.
