Postpartum depression ? 😓💔

I had my sun on Thursday 10/10/19 
(My Due Date ) I went in because I was already dilated my doctor send me to the hospital right away .. I was there since Wednesday the 9 she started to inducing me the contractions to see how much I could open .. I was very slow 💔 (next day the 10th ) I was already 40 weeks and only 6 cm open for hours at the end she told me it was time for c section I was really upset I’m not going to lie but at the end I wanted the best for my baby .. today I couldn’t stop crying I was just super depressed I can’t More that much because of the cut when he cries I have to take my time on getting up to nurse him ... my feet are super swollen and my Brest too I just broke down in tears

It’s likely not postpartum at this point.  It’s just your body adjusting to the hormonal changes.  I was very easily upset right after my cesarean and I had all the same issues.  The first 4-6 weeks are tough but it does get better as you heal and get into your routine.  If after the first 6 weeks you still feel depressed you will need to talk to your doctor as the “baby blues” typically only last 6 weeks or so.  It’s really going to be ok I promise.  You are doing great and every emotion you are experiencing right now is extremely normal.

Hang in there mama. I had an extremely rough delivery as well, a long 2 day induction, only got to 5 cm and had to have a c section which I ended up feeling most of. Felt like they ripped my baby and placenta out of my body. I couldn't see my baby for almost an hour after she was born and my milk took so long to come in we are now onto formula. I wanted to cry everytime I thought about our delivery experience (this was 6 wks ago now.) The first few days are the hardest let me tell you. Your hormones are completely out of whack right now and your body just went through soooo much. Take it slow and take care of yourself. Remember you need to take care of yourself in order to take care of your baby. Just try to do a little more each day as far as showering and walking around. Soon you will see you can stand up faster! The more you move around the faster you start to feel better after c section just don't overdo it. The baby blues are a very real thing due to our hormones and I was extremely weepy often for no real reason but it does get better before you know it. Talking about your delivery experience can help you to process it and move past it so I encourage you to do that. If after 4 weeks after delivery you still feel depression etc. then it may be postpartum depression but talk to your obgyn about what you're feeling and they can get you some help. It's more common than you think is what I was told.

It’s super normal to be weepy after just giving birth. I couldn’t hardly look at my little man the first week without bawling because I loved him so much lol. 
Your body has been flooded with hormones, it will come and go. Definitely reach out if it feels like your are too overwhelmed ❤️
