Can you get a false positive?

11 weeks post partum and I just got the faintest positive. It is possible it can be false?? If it's real I am literally gonna have Irish Triplets. My daughter's are 2 months and 22 months.

Have you had a pp period yet? I finally got mine 2 days ago, I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks before I got my period because I was concerned that I had not gotten my period yet and my partner and I had u protected sex a couple times.  I got a positive and panicked, my OB did a blood test and cake back negative, he said that the HG levels raise high enough in pregnancy that they can remain in your blood for up to 12 weeks after baby.  Keep us posted but there are other reasons for possible positives.

So when reading these tests, if the second line is not bright pink, it’s not considered positive. I would call this result inconclusive and repeat the test in a week.
