My boyfriend and I had already planned to spend Christmas together. We are currently long distance and live about 12 hours away from each other. We had planned for me to come to him and I bought my plane ticket yesterday and had already bought some of his Christmas gifts. Early this morning, he text me saying that his dad was possibly going to see his grandpa and that he’d be going too for the holiday. I haven’t really met his family yet so I wouldn’t be going with him. He doesn’t spend time with his family often so I get it but at the same time I was really excited about us seeing each other especially since the last time we did, things weren’t so great.
