Hopefully this goes well

Today I found out that my best friend James (also friends with my husband) is being abused by his girlfriend. We met up to talk about it and I was in tears when I saw him, ladies I’m talking bruises everywhere (eyes , jaw, arms and even stomach) and deep scratches. Apparently his girlfriend is also very very controlling as in he can’t talk to girls while she talks to alot of men. Anyways I do know the gf and I went to middle school with her but she doesn’t like me since I’m his ex and childhood friend.

I offered for him to stay at mine and my husbands house for a while if he wanted to. My husband is on board for James to stay at our house for a bit. I just hope nothing crazy happens.
