After tongue tie procedure

Hi all, So my son and I have been struggling with pump ">breastfeeding pretty much since he was born (4 weeks ago). We finally found out that he had a tongue tie that could be the reason why he couldn't get a deep latch and because of that he was hungry all the time and wouldn't gain weight. I finally had to cave and would breastfeed for 20 minutes and supplement with formula afterwards and then pump for 20 minutes after that. Today we went and got his tie cut and I dont really know how to go about feeding him. Do I still supplement with formula? Do I give him a set amount of time to nurse and see if hes still hungry? I emailed my lactation consultant but am waiting to hear back. Just wondering how you all went about feeding babies after their ties were cut, thanks!
