Any good old wives tale to get things going?

Not only was I waddling before but now I have a broken toe, I’m barely able to walk a couple of feet. 
Need to get this baby out! 
For fun has there been anything that has worked to induce labor?

Best I’ve heard is nipple stimulation. Try pumping for 10 minutes, resting for 5, and pumping again.

Nothing 😂😂 try whatever you want (within reason, stay safe, don’t take castor oil), baby will come when they’re ready. 
With my first I tried: 
Pineapple, dates, spicy food, red raspberry leaf tea, sex, acupuncture, chiropractic, ball bouncing, walking, hiking, nipple stimulation, from about 38/39 weeks and I asked my midwife for a membrane sweep at 40 weeks and I wasn’t dilated AT ALL as of 5 days before my daughter was born so she couldn’t even do the membrane sweep. 
NOTHING worked. Eventually I just gave up and took a nice warm bath 😂 I doubt that helped either but at least it was less work than walking three miles in the August sun! 
Unless you’re getting pumped with pitocin or otherwise medically induced, I’d just give up and let nature take care of it.

HIGHLY recommend the midwives brew. If your body is ready! I started having contractions within a few hours. They were immediately 2-3 min apart.

Sit on a giant exercise ball, and rotate your hips in an circle, then gently bounce up and down on it while you sit. I did this for a few days. It helps baby get into the birth canal.

The things that kick started my labour last time were
1. Walking in a large field
2. Rolling my hips on a birthing ball
3. Not laying or sitting down too much/ constantly up and moving to help gravity bring her down
4. Spicy curry
5. Sex
My daughter ended up putting her foot through the waters so I got induced. 
Try not to induce labour yourself until nearer to 40 weeks when baby’s lungs are developed. I know it’s hard but their weight isn’t a good indication of how healthy they’ll be when they’re here xx
