Inducing ???????!!!!

Question

So I’m getting My membranes swept tomorrow to try and get my Labor started and I was wondering how effective it is because I have to go in Monday if that doesn’t work and get a Balloon inserted in to my Cervix then the next day they are going to fully induce me if that doesn’t start my labor so please let me know you  experience and how much it hurts thank you

I was in labor for 32 hours when I was induced. Granted I was only 35 weeks and my water didn’t fully break right away. When my doctor broke it that morning(11am), I had my baby at 8:22 that evening. It makes you swollen too. I have no super complaints though. Just long labor lol

With my first I had a see at 41 weeks and contractions started about 12 hrs later. The sweep was uncomfortable but not really that painful- everyone’s pain tolerance is different.with my 2nd I wasn’t dilated enough for a sweep. Had the cook balloon inserted at 41 weeks. Was sent home- wasn’t painful just awkward with cords hanging out of my vagina all night. I went back in the morning and was at 4 cm. Started oxytocin at 8am, they broke my water at 10am, had my fin by 12:19pm.  Both my births were unmedicated. First was uncomplicated, tore a little. With my 2nd his shoulder got stuck in my pelvic bone and his arm broke when my midwife had to reach in and help maneuver him out. Didn’t tear surprisingly.

I was 1 Cm dilated when I went into my app for my membrane sweep, got it done, went home that evening and started squats, walked the block twice, walked up and down my stairs a handful of times and ended up going into labor that night. ☺️
