I FINALLY DID IT!

SO. I’ve made some posts in the past about the journey to getting my tubes tied. I saw my third doctor, the first two approved but this was the OBGYN that could refer me to a surgeon. After discussion about my situation, he agreed to do my tubal ligation/laparoscopy! He’s going to remove my tubes completely. It 99.5% effective. I was so surprised especially because I have never given birth/no kids. But I cried in the office. I’m so happy, my boyfriend couldn’t believe he said yes either but we are both so happy. It was a long journey but I did it! Surgery will be in about a month!

A side note: for those who have had a laparoscopy, what was your experience?
