How would you word this (dating profile)

In the "what I'm looking for" section, I know what I want to put, but can't think of the way to word it.

What I'm trying to say is, my end goal is to find someone to marry and start a family with, but I would not mind other relationships with men who don't want those things, kind of on my way to finding the man I would marry.

The way I worded it there sounds kind of terrible, that's why I need help. I don't want it to sound like those other relationships would just be filling in time slots until I find Mr right.
