Getting off Depo

This feels like a dumb question but I just want to be safe...

I was supposed to get my depo shot in September (I’m getting off of it for medical reasons) so I guess I’m like one month off of it technically. What symptoms/experiences should I be having? My real question is also I know how soon they say you can get pregnant after it...but can I only get pregnant after my period comes back? Just trying to be safe!
