How did you get pregnant?

The reason I am asking is my husband and I have been married for two years and he just isn’t ready for children quite yet and I am so ready for children!! We are in a pretty good spot to have kids! 
I have asked several friends and family members how long it took for their significant other to be ready to have children and at least 75% of them said that it was then that wanted kids and their husband didn’t so they just started trying behind their back... I am not the person I want my husband to be ready like I am but it does have me thinking if men are ever ready to have children? We are young and have plenty of time but I don’t want to wait until were older to have children I want to start having them soon!￼￼￼￼￼

Well that is entrapment. Do NOT try to secretly get pregnant and trick your SO. And yes, some men are most definitely ready for children. My SO was ready when I was and would love 10 more if I agreed.

Whoever voted “secretly quit birth control”....you’re a dick! That is so wrong. For me, my boyfriend of 12 years “wasn’t ready” but I told him I was stopping birth control. I was off of it for about 2 years only using the “pull out method” (which isn’t really a method). He 100% knew I was off birth control and he said he “wasn’t ready” but if it happened it happened. For 4 months before I got pregnant he quit pulling out...so I guess that was his way of telling me he was ready! 😂😂

Alright so I didnt read the whole thing. So when I read "secretly quit bc" I thought you meant keeping a secret from the  family. Like just you and your husband knowing. 
Dont go behind your mans back. 
Basically I just occasionally brought it up. (Not constantly just every 5 months maybe?) Just talked it out. If he isnt ready them he isnt. He will come around though .

We were both really excited to start working on a family together. I couldn’t imagine trying to trick him into something he wasn’t ready for. We talked and decided to plan a pregnancy together. I’m sorry to hear some people “secretly quit bc”. Just wow.

My bf always wanted kods but with his ex gf he was told that he had low sperm which when we started datting i was okay with because I didnt want kids...fast forward 3 years later and I found out I was pregnant, we hadnt been using any protection for the last 2 years so we werent preventing it from happing. Now I have a beautiful almost 3 year old girl and actively TTC our 2nd child.
OH and because of his low sprem his very first question to me when I showed him the pee stick was "did you cheat?" I threw a pillow at is face...lol

It depends on your agreement with your partner in my case me and my husband wanted to bother be aware of when we were ttc he wanted to know when my last pill was and everything. However in both mine and his parents case the men wernt fussed and left it to their wives (my mum and mil) to decide so they were blissfully unaware as to when sex was just sex or sex was ttc. However to just do it without having that discussion with your partner is absolutely wrong.

I think men just take longer to grow up and having babies is definitely a huge step to growing up! 
We’ve just started TTC. We both always wanted kids and it’s something we both want for the future. I’ve been ready to start trying for a long time and when I mentioned it to hubbie he always talked about it as a future plan. Anyhow a few months ago we were driving home from his parents and he just asked if I was ready for a baby because he is.
Like you said, you’re only young. Do you have any friends or relatives with babies? I think when hubbies best friend became a dad and we went to meet the baby it got him thinking’s he wanted one too haha
