Has anyone gotten back with their first love after not being together for YEARS? I broke up with him for a dumbass reason. We never had problems and I’m STILL thinking about him everyday

Yes we dated all high school split up 7 years , got back together he had been married and divorced had a daughter sore he never loved any one like he did me and he just wanted us to build a future... I fell for it ... dated him four four or five months every thing seemed great turns out his late work nights he was with his ex wife 😂😂😂 so moral of the story people don’t change

Honestly, I dont think I ever could even if I were single. 
It was so many years ago. And we're still great friends. But I went to get coffee with him a little over a year ago and catch up on things. He's an entirely different person now, and the type of person I have zero attraction for. He just grew up to be completely opposite of how he used to be. That's not to say he's a bad guy or undesirable. Just not my type. 
I'm happily married now to the love of my life, with my first baby due in 2 months. There's not a man on this Earth that could take my husbands place, or even be half the man that he is. He's truly the other half of me and I dont think theres anyone else out there like him.

My fiance (B) and I dated in school when we were 14 and 15 and then I moved away. I moved back when I was 21 and caught up with some old friends and ended up being maid of honor for the girl I was best friends with at that school, and her husband is best friends with (B) so we were both in the wedding party. We started all hanging out together after the wedding and now 3 years later we are living near the beach, engaged and have our little 1 year old fur baby and our beautiful 5 month old daughter 🧡🧡🧡

My dad did. He was 21 when him and my step mom first got together. He was an alcoholic and he treated her horribly. He eventually dipped on her. And then 15 years later we ran into her at the pet store, and here we are, they e been together ever since and married for 8 years. He had a lot of growing up to do and he did. He’s a wonderful person now and nothing like “The Rickster,” his drunk alter ego.
