Should I get a bday cake for someone I just started dating?

Little backstory we’ve been exclusively dating for about a year and it’s not official yet, I already got a watch, and a gift card for him... he’s turning 25 and I thought this would be the perfect cake but idk if I should get it since he doesn’t celebrate it

None of this really makes sense. A year of dating exclusively does not equal just started dating. What difference does a cake make at this point if you already bought him stuff but he doesn't celebrate?

I buy my husband gifts as my tradition on bdays anniversary and valentines he doesn't he's more of a ask for anything practical and it's your kind of guy. Totally up to you it looks delicious
