Weight loss surgery and PCOS

I'm thinking of having weightloss surgery to help with my PCOS.

Did it improve any symptoms for anybody else?

I'm thinking of going through my private health insurance in Australia but I'm not getting any clear idea of the out of pocket costs etc till I book a date. I'm still waiting the year to claim well less then a year and wanted to have an estimate.

Also what were your family reactions co workers etc.

What surgery did everybody else go for aswell?

Sorry so many questions but quite literally don't know anybody who has had the surgery.
