Constantly nursing?

My baby is 5 days old. She’s exclusively breast fed. It seems like it takes her sometimes 2 hours to get full. She’ll eat on one side for 15 minutes then I’ll try to switch her and she won’t take to that side. I’ll put her down and 10 minutes later she’s crying again. It’s currently 9:30 and she’s been up since 7. Nursing just about the whole time. I have an appointment with a lactation consultant today and I’ll definitely be bring it up. I just wanted a little insight before I go.

The 3 week old is again, trying to up your milk supply for a growth spurt.

Normal! Baby will feed super often in the first few weeks to get ur supply established. That’s why it’s important to feed on demand and not supplement. It’s hard and very time consuming at times but it will pay off!

This is super normal cluster feeding behaviour. Try to get comfortable and go through with it, it will establish your supply.
