Now that I have your attention.

My bf was about to shower...checked his phone and was like "hmm... Telemarketer." Then went into the bathroom after placing his phone on the charger. My spidey senses went off. We had some trust issues to get through years ago....and part of it was because in the past (before we were officially together) when he would be like "hmm, it's *James" or "hmm, it's Matt".... It was really a female. Now. Knowing this, I went and looked at his phone.

Seeing this I'm like

I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt because I love him and we have been together for 5 years.. But if he's cheating I will burn this shit DOWN, and yes, LEAVE.

SO my questions, ladies, are:

1. Have you ever had a call come through that is labeled as telemarketer? (I sure the fuck haven't)

2. Have you ever saved a known telemarketer # in your contacts? (I sure the fuck haven't)

I'm sure some of you will say to just ask him... But if he is cheating it will make him more careful. And you know....

I have his password (that he gave me) to his phone so if he's cheating I'm sure in his mind it would make sense to try to save someone's number under something like that. 🙄 Again. I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but my intuition is sending flares. And no, I will NOT stay if I find out he's entertaining someone else. Am I crazy for thinking this is odd? 🤔

Oh and yes I plan to call the number. I will just make sure to get the number later after he has cleared the notifications on his screen... That way, if he isn't cheating then no harm, no foul...and no argument bc I jumped to conclusions. 😂 I usually wait until I have his dick in my hands/mouth before I ask questions I need a straight answer to. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm trying to chill out and not overreact... Just needing opinions and you ladies are the BEST.

So.... For one. He DOES know I go through his phone... As he has my password and can go through mine whenever he wants too. Just to clear that up. It's a mutual understanding. We DO talk and communicate... But ya know... If someone is cheating....THEY AREN'T USUALLY GOING TO JUST FESS UP... Which is why I wanted opinions and some type of evidence there was more to it than me being paranoid and letting my psycho girl-I'll-kill-you-me-and-my-man side out.

So. I went and looked at the call log... Got the # from it. Went into his contacts to see if there were any numbers actually saved as "Telemarketer"... There were none....which made me happy. Then I Googled the number online...

It was a KNOWN TELEMARKETER!!!!

He does have AT&T and you ladies were right... It's a new thing I guess. Crisis averted. We can keep our house fire and smoke free for now...
