Anyone else married to a police officer? My man is in the academy right now and it is stresssssssssful 🥴 I love my man and I know this is the career for him but I am stressed to the max. I’m honestly more stressed than he is.

For example, he can’t have his phone while he’s there and tonight they needed him to stay late to help set up a haunted house so I didn’t hear from him until 830pm when he normally gets off at 430pm. I was in a full blown panic and had called my parents and my best friend thinking he must have been in an accident. I know this is just the beginning. I have horrible anxiety and worried about him even when he was working as an insurance agent. 🥴

How do you do it if you’re married to a cop? What has gotten you through all the anxiety because I know it’s only going to get worse when he graduates and actually starts working patrol.
