Question

So my son is 8 months old and still wakes up for bottles in the middle of the night which me and my grandma argue about it I say he shouldn't be eating at night cause I've read by this age he really shouldn't be taking bottles and she thinks he should he get at least 5 6oz bottles a day and feed baby food 2 times a day and now working on finger foods

My 10 month old still wakes every 45 min to hour. Not all babies are textbook. If baby is hungry you feed baby. 
My lo only eats 4 oz bottles. She wakes constantly to eat. She wakes constantly to be held. 
You do what’s best for you not anyone else. 
My thought is unless your waking with baby it doesn’t matter what you think.

My son has slept through the night since 4 months.  I do 5 6-7oz bottles a day.  1 with cereal.   He gets purees when we have time and is doing great.  I have to make sure he gets the 5 bottles a day or he will not sleep.
