Decreased fetal movement?

My babe has been extra quiet since yesterday afternoon. I can feel some movement, just not his usual wild self, smaller moves instead...I’m sure he’d pass the 10 movements in 2 hours guidelines. Anyone else have this happen near the end? Being induced on Monday morning.

Yes. This happened to me. I’m 40+4. 
I called L&D and they said drink a large glass of juice and go lay down on my left side in a quiet dark room and place my hand under my belly and just relax and count. They also said if you’re nervous you are ALWAYS welcome to come in for a check. 
In 45 mins I had one small SMALL nudge. And I hadn’t felt him at all since like 2pm and it was 10:45pm. 
So we went in and his HR was great he was just literally not moving. Fast asleep. They called my OB and then sent us home and when we got home he was awake and the last few days has been a little more active. 
If you’re unsure. Always go get checked if it’s an option and don’t feel stupid about it !

Drink something cold/sweet/fizzy, like on your side for an hour-ish and if you are still concerned then go in to get checked? No harm in getting checked. My baby has quiet days, she has them at least once a week for the whole pregnancy. For me she was either facing my back (not this late on though, she's too big now), or just sleeping a lot and going through a growth spurt. X

This happened to me with my first. Went in and had an NST and all was good, but went into labor early the next morning and he was born on his due date!

This has been ne the past few days. 
Lil man moves a lot here and there and then has long periods when he's super chill. 
I have a doppler to sooo I listen to him here and there as well.
