I had sex 12 days ago... my period is not due till November 8th (it’s not regular) . Can I take a pregnancy now and get a solid result.

There is no way you’d get a positive that early.

Yes you can if you know you ovulated around that time.  
If you don’t know when your ovulated, I’d wait an extra week or 4 weeks past your last period.
