Birth Control/ Iud ?

Hi ladies, so I’ve never taking any form of birth control and I’m 19 and planning on getting the Iud soon. I’ve talked to my dr. already and I mentioned that I’ve heard Iuds are recommended to women with children. So I just want to hear your guys experience with an Iud or if not, any experience with any type of birth control. Please inform me :)

I have the ParaGard iud (copper) ￼I love it. Had no issue.  I got it after I had my son because birth control pill making me have 2 periods after have my son.

I got Mirena iud at 20, never been pregnant. I love it! It's my favorite birth control

My OBGYN recommended copper iud for women with children and hormonal if you haven’t had children.

I have Mirena. I love it. I have had a kid but you can still get it. They have smaller ones if you prefer since you haven’t had a kid.
