how many ultra sounds ?

This is my first pregnancy and i was just wondering on average how many ultra sounds do you get during your pregnancy? i have UHC tenncare & they cover a lot of stuff. i’ve had my first ultra sound and my anatomy scan , i’m really just wondering if i will have another one closer to the end of my pregnancy ??

Where I am, unless theres a medical need to have an ultrasound,  you don't get one in your 3rd tri. Your anatomy scan is the last one.

I'm on my 5th pregnancy. My first 4 I only had 2 ultrasounds. This one I've had 4 so far at 22 weeks. Only due to a medical condition though. I'll have at least one more.

I think standard is 3 but I have had 5 so far - one was after a car accident just to make sure there was nothing wrong. I should have 1 more closer to due date.

With my first two we only had two scans. One at the initial around 11-13 weeks to date it and the other anatomy around 20.  The first baby was with a DoD hospital (military base) second was just a regular local obgyn. 
With my now 3rd child and where I'm at now does 3 ultrasounds however we ended up getting a second anatomy done due to a very stubborn baby not wanting to get measurements done.
One was the initial at about 11 weeks, anatomy around 20 weeks  and one at about 32-34 weeks to show growth and see if we should look into scheduling an induction date if baby Is getting to big.  This however is not common from what I've heard or known.

As far as I know the average is 3 but it also depends on your doctor and when you got your first ultrasound done.
