Does anybody have a partner that pays all the bills?

I don't currently have a job, so my husband makes 100% of our income. However, what's his is mine and what's mine is his when it comes to money. We never call it "my" money or "your" money. He's more than happy to be the provider for me and baby. I'll get a job if I need to help support though 😉

There are tons of stay at home moms on here so yeah there are lots of peoplewho have this situation. I worked my first 2 pregnancies but now I stay home so yes he pays the bills.  But what exactly is your question?

I wish...I would love to be able to stay home with our son for the first few years, but I’m the breadwinner.

I mean his checks are used for bills and my checks are used for everything else (gas, food, spending money, etc.) so he kind of does pay all the bills so it makes him feel really good but I still work and pay for things too of course. But it’s always OUR money

Sure do! He actually didn’t want me working so I stopped our last pregnancy close to my due date. 
Now we’re pregnant again and I’ll have 2 under 2 so I don’t see going back to work soon an option for us.

Lol I was that partner. And I probably will be for a while. My child’s father will be relocating here from out of state. And tbh, I’ve never wanted a sitter or planned on having to hire care. So I will be expecting him to be the one to stay at home since I’m already set up here with career etc.

I worked at a gym daycare for 2 years and took my kids to work but the income was so small that my husbands checks paid all the bills anyways so now I'm staying home and pregnant which is better cuz i had preterm labor last time. I plan to get another job at the rec center daycare by my house after i have the baby to help us recoup our savings but my husband is the provider for our family. I am responisble for all the finances i pay all the bills my husband doesnt even look at our bank account he just asks me if we have money for him to do this or buy that

I’m a SAHM now so yes. He makes enough for me to stay home and if I worked my salary would covet daycare and I’d be bringing him $600-700 working overtime as a teacher. Not worth it for the amount of stress so I’ll go back once kiddos are in school.
