Sleep sacks for winter?

My son sleeps in a regular cotton sleep sack now. Wanting to get him some nice soft fleece ones or even the gunapod duvet sack? How do you guys dress your babies for bed in the winter or any recommendations? For now he’s wearing a long sleeved onesie, thin sweatpants, and socks under his sleepsack. We like sweatpants better than footie pajamas.

I didn’t really change what my babies wore to bed. Their rooms were always set at 68 degrees year round. I’d think what you’re doing now is fine. You don’t want him to be too warm.

The only thing we changed due to the cold weather is get her into fleece jammies while still using the cotton sleep sack. We have central air/heat and I notice that her room temperature tends to be a little colder than the rest of the house in the winter.

For winter we dressed baby in a footie pajama and a halo sleep sack. It always got VERY cold in her room for whatever reason and we didn’t want to have a heater in there. The most we could do is leave the vent open and put a fan in to try and move the warm air around.

We use Woolino sleep sacks all year because they’re wool so they regulate your baby’s body temperature. In the winter I usually put him in long sleeves with pajama pants.
