Hi all - looking for some insight. Of course, all of this will be discussed at my next OB appointment this week. I am diagnosed with GDM and it’s relatively controlled with diet & 38 units of insulin every night. I have had 2 NSTs weekly for the last 4 weeks and weekly fluid checks and everything’s been perfect. My baby is measuring in the 50% as per last growth scan at 35 weeks, so he is not big as is the case with many GDM babies. I’m currently 36 weeks. My OB wants to induce at 39 weeks as that’s standard practice with diabetes. My goal is to attempt a VBAC and i know induction can increase complications.

Sorry for long message but if you’re still with me - has anyone with GDM refused being induced? How did that work out for you?
