High blood pressure

Can some other mamas share their experience with having high blood pressure during their pregnancy? My BP was always a little on the high side with my first pregnancy but never to the point that my doctor was worried about anything. I have switched to a different hospital for this pregnancy and my first appointment my BP was 170/? (I wasn’t told the second number) and they took again and it was 152/?. Now I have a family history of high BP, both of my parents and my mom’s parents are on medicine for high BP, but mine has never been that high. I also have bad anxiety and I’m always anxious to go to the doctors so it is higher at the doctors than it is when I’ve taken it at home with my moms BP cuff. I have an appointment on Thursday with the high risk specialist at my hospital to see how we are going to handle my BP and I would love to hear about other mamas experiences so I have a better idea of what to expect going into this appointment.
