Should I do it?

So I like watching tik toks and saw this guy on there. He’s really cute and we’re the same age (both 20). I keep feeling like something is telling me to message him but at the same time I’m a little scared of being rejected as I’ve only ever had bad experiences with guys and since he’s sort of popular on social media. Should I shoot my shot or just find something else to do?
