Anybody else dog acting weird or clingy all of a sudden

I noticed today when I came back from buying my last minute stuff for my son my 7 year old dog was so clingy to me ... these past few weeks she has been careless and not wanting to sleep in the room with me ... she kind of surprised me when she was outside of my room waiting for me to open the door .. at this moment she is sleeping right next to me by thighs ... she has been following me everywhere or she just won’t leave the room I found this very weird lol
