Do you consider owning a fetal Doppler necessary in the 2nd trimester (after 20weeks)?

This is my second pregnancy and I've never really felt the need to have one. By the time you're far enough along to easily find a heartbeat, you're not far away from consistently feeling baby move. Maybe if I were high risk I would want one more, but generally I just don't see the point.

No, because feeling her move was enough. I could see it being helpful maybe in the first trimester, but I was feeling my daughter frequently enough at 20 weeks it was unnecessary to consider.

I think it would make my anxiety worse. Ive had 1 mc and im already paranoid that I'm gonna lose this baby-and the way I found out about my mc was that they couldnt find a heartbeat.

Not necessary, not at all. But I love having one! I've never been unable to find the heartbeat. It isn't that hard 🤷🏼‍♀️

If I feel the need to listen I call my midwife and she finds time for me. So no, owning one myself would most likely just stress me if I didn't find the heartbeat.
