So back in January my husband lost his job we are living at my in laws house now because I went out of work in February due to complications in my pregnancy. We haven't had an income in a while so living here is our only choice right now and it's killing me. We have to share a room with my daughter which I don't mind too much but we all need our own space. My in laws smother us! We get into fights because I don't bring my daughter upstairs enough to see them. Seriously? I bring her up every day but apparently it's not enough for them. Because it's before her bath and she is cranky. How about being happy you even get to see her every day. My mother and father would kill to see her every day. It's like they are ungrateful for the time they get to spend with her. They need to realize we have to live our own lives even if we live in their house.

Don't get me wrong they are helping us a lot with letting us stay here but it's not like I don't show my appreciation. We buy the groceries and cook dinner every night for us and them. We pull our own weight. Anything they need I'll do but it gets too much sometimes. They are ALWAYS so loud when they know the baby is sleeping it drives me nuts. Slamming doors banging walking so heavy right above the room.

It causes my husband and I to fight because we get so frustrated. I'm just ready to get the hell out of here.

My brother in law's girlfriend and I talk all the time about how my in laws smother all of us. They just bought their first home and she still expects them to come to the house several times a week to visit.

It's been nice having my husband home to help with the baby these first few months but he just got 2 new job for Amazon AND as a mailman. Two really good jobs that will bring in a good income. I'm so happy and proud of how hard he is working to support our family.

Now just a few more months of saving and we can be on our way and finally live a happy life with the three of us and NOT my in laws. They need to realize once we leave they won't be seeing baby every day so I'm sure that will be a fight too.
