Tried to take some cute fall pics today...

Only on a Wednesday, am I right?

We live in New England, and our foliage is just starting to hit its peak, so on our before-dinner walk today, I decided to try out portrait mode on my new phone.

Not perfect, but for a spur of the moment photo shoot, I was pretty happy.

We walked a bit further down the hill, and she starts rolling on the ground. Super cute, didn’t think anything of it.

She stands up, and I realize she’s found something RANCID, and that’s why she was rolling around like crazy!!! 🤭🤢

And of course the neighbors were outside, watching me try drag my dog across the grass away from the nastiness.

So...... the bath I was planning for this weekend happened today. We were planning to get a new showerhead because our current one is too high for me to reach, let alone to wash the dog with.

She smells like coconut shampoo (and a little like wet dog), but at least she doesn’t smell like whatever she was rolling in anymore!

Anyone else’s four legged family members get into stinky trouble lately? 😂
