Getting a 7 month old to take a sippy cup

Any moms have idea to get him to take sippy cups. We need to transition to sippy cups for formula. Our cats refuse to stop eating bottle nipples. Weather clean or dirty. They even open the draw they are in to eat them. Or eat them from the sink. I would appreciate the brands or kind. What worked what didnt. No bottle nipple ones
